Today is Mother's Day and any other time, we would have run this special post before the actual special day. Today we are crafting a statement about Tech Moms that we want people to focus on going forward from today. 1000 Women For Technology is a movement that targets everyday women and empowers them with information, education and resources for a Technology Driven Future.

On this Mother's Day, we are looking at Tech Mom's. We selected a few women who are just dynamic to feature. These moms are running around the clock pushing their children and others in the direction of success. They often get consumed in doing for others so much, they leave little to no time for themselves. Tech moms are always taking their children from school to tutors, them from tutors to camp or robotics clubs. Some moms even run the robotics clubs.
Some of our selected mothers go way beyond the call of duty, the just keep giving. They don't have weekends to themselves and in some cases, no time at all. If not for theses Tech moms, we would not have any of the Tech genius that we have now if
not for the great support from Tech Moms.

We selected the ladies featured from firsthand knowledge of their great contributions. Akili, full time wife and mother of four children. She is a homeschooling professional. All of her children were in robotics program. This inspired her to go beyond the efforts of taking her children to robotic club. Akili jumped in with two feet and created an All-Girl robotics program. The go and compete at top global robotics competitions. Way to go Mom-Coach Akili!
